Looking for Animator/BG Artist for Flash Animation

Posted by HandofRel - January 5th, 2014

Hello,

I'm trying to put together a flash animation, based on a book my wife and I wrote. Here's a small test animation I put together, to show what it is going to look like: Test Animation This is also the style we are trying to go far, as well.

This is the first animation we've put together. So if you decide to work with us, I'm not sure if it'll flow like a regular production. I'm a self taught Flash animator, and I don't really know what the real work flow/pipeline is suppose to be? I just draw stuff, then try to make it move.

We can't offer any type of compensation, at the moment. If this takes off, maybe we will be able to later. But for now, this would just be a volunteer/non-paid/for portfolio only-type gig

About the animation: -It's going to be 3 episodes -4-5 minutes, each -We already have music and voices recorded -Story is finished -We work with Flash CS3 -12 fps -Aspect Ratio is 720x405 -Music is by Kevin Macleod and SFX are from Freesound.org

What we're looking for: -A Background Artist -Animator-Possibly a Story Board Artist

At the moment, I'm doing all the Story Boards, Animation, etc. Whether it's coming together right? I don't even know. I have an idea of what I want, but not sure if I have the technical skill to pull it off. So, if you can help, it would be appreciated! You can contact us here on Newgrounds, or reach us on our contact page.

It's the stuff like this that really makes me want to reclaim my motivation to practice animating. I've been set on animation for years now and I have yet to actually finish anything of significance. Honestly, I'd offer to help, but I really don't know if I'm good enough at this point to contribute enough to keep up with others that are better suited for the job.
